Arena Items For Sale
Winnipeg Enterprises Corporation (WEC) operates the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg Canada and is seeking parties interested in purchasing various items. The following items will be available in November 2004:
- Arena
seating consisting of five types; theatre style cloth/plastic,
plastic/padded vinyl seat, wood/padded vinyl seat, wood, and
cloth/plastic retractable bleachers.
- Hockey
Dasherboards for 200’ x 85’ ice surface (not including glass).
- Four
(4) 9’ x 12’ Sony JTS80 Jumbotron boards with processor.
- Whiteway
24’ x 24’ centre hung score clock with matrix and LED
scoreboard.
- Concession
equipment.
- Many
other building and Arena related items available.
Written
offers in Canadian funds will be accepted until 4:30 pm August 31,

Winnipeg Enterprises Corporation (WEC) owns, operates and manages the Winnipeg Arena on behalf of the City of Winnipeg.
The Winnipeg Arena is the home of the AHL franchise Manitoba Moose, who are affiliated with the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL.
The arena plays host to over 200 events per year, serving over 750,000 patrons.
WEC
also operates the Select-A-Seat ticketing service which sells tickets exclusively
for Winnipeg Arena events, as well
as other various events throughout the province of
Manitoba. Select-A-Seat's many clients include the Manitoba
Moose, IMAX Theatre, The
Winnipeg Convention Centre, and the world renowned outdoor summer theatre
Rainbow
Stage, as well as a variety of other events such as concerts, ice
shows, and other variety shows.

In pursuing its mission, the corporation builds, owns, and operates facilities such as stadiums, arenas, and parks, and conducts and promotes sporting and other entertainment events, and other supportive business ventures.
