Welcome to my Studio Chikashitsu page.

Here are the listings of the Studio Chikashitsu tapes I offer. (I'm one of the primary distros for Studio Chikashitsu so all the tapes that I make copies from are SVHS masters that were made right off the LD.) These are not listed on my main tapes page to avoid confusion as there are a few special rules that apply to these. The additional rules are:

No mixing and matching, they must be ordered tape for tape the same way items on my expanded listings page are.
SP only, these are the only items I won't do in EP, this is at the direction of the fansubber.

Pricing on these is the same as any other SP tapes from me. The optional special cases are available for a small extra charge, see main page for pricing. Make sure you use the pricing for "cases with inserts", if you use the pricing for blank cases that's what you'll get, cases with no inserts. ^_-

The special face and spine labels will be included at no extra charge regardless of whether you buy the cases or not.

For those who haven't already figured it out for themselves the labels are the things with the pretty pictures on them that I stick onto the tape itself and the inserts are the pieces of paper with the pretty pictures that are slid into the cases. (You wouldn't believe how many people have gotten confused about this. ^_-)

DISCLAIMER: This is a project by fans for fans. These tapes (like any others I offer ^_-) are not a commercial product. If you look closely at the cases or the face labels you'll notice it even says so right on them. The reason we are doing this is that DIC (the company that dubbed SM into English) made many changes to the show and these tapes are an accomodation for the older fans who also want to see the original version but are not fortunate enough to have learned Japanese. ^_- Since DIC is only concerned with the "kiddy" market and the kids that DIC is marketing too aren't old enough to read the subtitles fast enough to keep up these tapes do not compete with DIC's version. (Funny thing, many of the people that come to me for these subtitled tapes are parents who were watching the show with their kids that resultantly got hooked on it themselves. ^_^) It is for this reason that we believe DIC is not concerned about this activity. I had previously assumed that nobody who didn't already know that wouldn't have even found this page but apparently strange things happen. For this reason I've added this disclaimer. ^_- Even if we as a group do a better job than many professionals we are still just amatures who are doing this because we like the show ourselves.

Cases and labels for the Chikashitsu tapes can also be downloaded from this page if you want to print them yourself. For printing the labels on this page if you use Avery Label Pro and a Epson Stylus COLOR 600 set the contrast +25%, the brightness to -25% set to the highest resolution (1440 dpi in this case), and leave the other settings alone for best results. (Or at least if you are trying to best approximate my results. ^_-) For people who use other programs and printers you'll have to figure out the details of optimal printing yourself since I only know what my equipment and software do. ^_-
